hi i hope some one can help i have got a freelander 51 reg td4 es after a few months driving with no problems a few things have started to happen,first 3 lights on the dash abs tc and hill desent doesnt affect driving but sometimes the tc comes on under very soft brakeing but then goes back to normal with normal brakeing its only happenend a few times.and yesterday i noticed that when it get to around 3000rmp the car dosent want to go any faster or pull its ok in 1st and 2nd gear but 3rd its very flat around the 3000rmp and in the 4th and 5th gear its takeing a long time to build up speed its very flat,other the that and a few window and air con problem the car is fine,this is my first landrover and all ways wanted one but there seems to be a few faults can any one help thanks matt

do a search for "the 3 amigos" subject has been done to death... as for lack of power when was last time it was serviced??

also it's a landrover and a diesel it's never going to to be quick off the mark in the higher gear range..

And if you've any decency about you, go over to the intro section and introduce yourself rather than just coming in here using people as a resource rather than being a member of the community.

Have a look here for your power problem, its in the stickies, it seems like similar symptoms, try the little filter hanging down at the back of the engine first (Driver side), its open at one end & vents the vacuum to the turbo vane actuator according to the position of the solenoid, if its blocked you could be overboosting.

Check all your inter cooler hoses for splits especially the long one on the drivers (UK) side as this rubs through on the Brkt on the engine.
