Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if any of you guys know of a good welder in or around the sheffield area, apparantly the underside of my disco looks like a piece of swiss cheese

. It's gone in all the usuall places. And also does any one know of a reasonable place to get some AT tyres from

There will be plenty around but it wont come cheap.
Your best bet would be to get a welder and do it yourself.
What exactly needs doing bootfloor, arches, sills, body mounts etc.

If you strip it and prep it yourself it would be cheaper as it takes some time to strip.
Has it failed the MOT?
May be better to get rid and buy something already done.

boot floor been done it's all the rest that needs doing, to be honest i wouldn't know where to start to strip it and prep (put a poorly horse in front of me and could sort it out but not a car), not due for MOT till april,

My problem is if i get rid I'll only have the money from this disco and what i'd pay for welding to buy another and then am i just buying more problems already done clutch, alternator, and shocks on this one.

Thanks for the suggestions more help than other fella

Any chance you know a welder that wants a job lol

Well its the wrong time of year for most of the cheap guys as its cold outside.
It would be a good idea to log onto the Sheffield Forum and put an ad up for some quotes.

Hey just thought i'd let you know welding done thankyou for your help ruffday managed to pursuade the lad that found the holes to do it, he's also doing all the other niggly jobs for me too
