Good evening

I have just replaced the timing belt on my 110, now she won't start! When I turn the ignition you can hear the starter kicking in and the serpentine belt is turning but she doesn't fire up. Any ideas? Or do i need to strip her back down and check the timing belt???

Thanks in advance

how fast does it turn over ,got cam mark right ,when you put crank pin in was key at front of crank at 12 oclock flywheel has several notches

Hi James

It turns over at what iwould say was normal speed. Yes the key was at the 12 oclock position when I put the flywheel pin in. I Have refitted the belt and thinking it may have been a fuel problem I have reset the fuel pump timing and still the same thing happens.

Any help is greatly appreicated.

Hi James

Refitted belt and its starting now!

How the serpentine belt idler securing stud has rattled loose and ripped out half the threads from the mount on the engine. Any ideas how easy this is to replace/re-thread?

Mike
