Help with noise.

Hello. When i open my freelander and get in i hear a repetative beep that beeps approx 10 times and then stops. It has always done it with the spare keys but now its started with the main set to. Sometimes the noise happens when i turn the engine off and remove the keys. Any ideas. I have checked the manual and it says only one thing which is the batteries in the remote are low. But they have been doing this for a while the spare set for since we got it 4 years ago and the main set about 6 weeks.

Your manual is correct....low battery in fob....one of mine has done it for a long time too thanks for reminder will get round to it one day

The battery is changed by LR dealers every service/yearly and they charge you alot to do it. Some batteries do it almost from new, yet will still work your alarm/locks for years

Who puts an (at least) 4 yr old FL into main stealers for service each year???
