L322 Help with new purchase.

Just been quoted £290 for a new key from the local main dealer. Trouble is their machine for coding the key to the vehicle is broken and they don't know when they will be getting a replacement!

Thought the details had to be sent to Germany to make the key's, f*ck all to do with the dealer except taking your money off you
