Help with alarm and door locks!

I've got a 300TDi '97 Disco. Alarm problems are as follows: When I lock it with the key fob the alarm beeps twice as if a door is open somewhere, if you lock it by turning the key or pressing a button inside the car, the button pops back up. The interior lights stay on sometimes and then another time they won't come on. The rear wash wipe has decided to take early retirement!
Any ideas?? Apart from a box of matches and can of petrol!

Have you checked the obvious like door, bonnet, tailgate switches? I only mention it because I couldnt get mine to RCL the other day then realised the backdoor was actually wide open!

Yeah, done all of the obvious. Starting to think it's water in the multi-function unit. Now have self operating hazard lights to add to the party!!

I had the same problem with the Hazards and non operating central locking!

I ended up fitting replacement reciever from scrapped 300tdi disco and now works fine!!
