I have a 2.5 DSC Auto which won't start. I have checked the fuel and am able to get this to the injection pump, but not to the actual injectors. I have put the vehicle on a diagnosis machine and they won't communicate to each other. I have checked all wiring and connections and they are all okay. Has anyone exerienced this problem before or does anyone have any suggestions as to what else I can try?? Thanks

Hi and :welcome2: First posts like this are a bit like walking up to a stranger in the street and asking if they fancy a shag.

If you have sufficent fuel at the FIP, then look at the crank sensor and the ignition relay in the fuse box (Iknow it's a diesel) and check for signs and smells of burning in the fuse box. Check that the stop solenoid on the FIP operates.

put down location someone may be nearby and help out.
check basics first before getting too deep, make sure fuel is coming up,make sure fuel is going to injectors, make sure battery is fully charged.

If you're getting fuel to the FIP but not beyond it then I would suggest the first port of call has got to be the stop solenoid. If that has failed then you won't get fuel beyond it up to the injectors.

do you think there is a connection with engine nonstart & no communication wiith diagnosis, there is a burning smell in fuse relay board.cheer leigh

Burnt fuse box is a common cause of all sorts of problems. Fix that before you go looking for any other fault. Also read the thread on the one that wouldn't turn off, also cause by the fuse box:)
