Help to close sunroof

Hi all,

Trying to stop the little one whinging I opened my sunroof and stuck my hand out. Went to shut and started sticking, one side appeared uneven! Me and the mrs tried to straighten and shut manually. Got to the point where the front seal appears snug with the roof, however cannot drop it into place to sit flush.

I am not looking for a way to repair, but just any info on how to get it shut, its november and if we dont see rain tonight it wont be long!

Had the same problem before but I managed to close it anyway by pushing it back and forth and left to right, once closed I removed the fuse and put a layer of silicone around the glass on the outside. Waterproof sealed now and when it gets too hot there's still the aircon.

Thanks for that was worried if careful manipulation or brute force would damage it, but its already buggered! All sorted now. Back in place, did not silicone as I will replace motor and rails pretty soon.

Just checked the link. Will check for leaks over the coming days and weeks, if I find it to be leaking would silicone damage seals, paint work etc? Will also be removing the fuse.
