Quick update, as I hate to google problems on forums and never finding if a solution cured the problem.

so far no more non starting I can say the plunger fix in the s/motor solved out non starting issue.

Next on the list is a leaking ACE block which is getting worse....

Just had similar. Immobiliser is resetting prior to recognising FOB micro chip in key. Check fob battery. Replace and test.. Another way of starting may be wind window down press lock button on fob. Press open on fob and quickly isert key from outside before immobiliser resets. Good luck , second option only emergency but might get you home.

Hi I need help I have just bought a land rover discovery td5 it's been fine over the last two days until today I got home turned it off for about 15 mins max went to start it and it wouldn't start on the key all it does is makes a clicking sound like the battery is dead but it ain't and I have two flashing lights in green one with a s in the middle and one with a m in the middle can any one help me?
