Help satnav issue 2008 freelander 2

Help please have a 2008 Freelander 2 hst
I have put an update disc in and now my satnav is jumping on and off the home screen has been for weeks and the disc drive under the seat is not letting me remove the disc either now and I have switched it on and off tried rebooting it and switching the disc drive to unlock as well any help will be great before putting the car the landrover and paying out 100Hr!!! i am more want to get the disc out and put the original back in
