We have a fellow Landy owner in a spot of bother overseas, the thread has been going on in the Def section, but i thought it a good idea to get some exposure in here in case someone maybe able to assist.

Just how international is it?

We are currently in Laos and our gearbox is about to give up the ghost, had to tow Cassie for 100km or so upon leaving China and it looks like its finished off our gearbox.

The local main stealer is a complete waste of time so no joy there.

Does anyone have a box preferably without transfer box (to safe cost on transport) that they would be willing to DHL to me?

Currently its an LT77 in a 1991 200TDi defender, believe that an R380 could be fitted but would obviously need the bell housing as well.

Have looked at Ashcrofts but cost would be too high, with shipping and surcharge etc.

Please help, we will be back on line later as there is a 7 hour difference.
