I need some help, 3 warning lights have come on on my 1.8 freelander,
The ABS, The Hill Decent controll and the Traction control!!!
they will not go off and the handbook says take it to landrover (this will cost the earth )
The only thing i have done in the last week is pump the tyres up, have new front brakes and took the rook off an put vinyl on??

Any one had this problem??

All three warning lamps are connected to the brakes, via the abs sensors on the wheels that also control the brake actuated HDC and TC

I suspect that when the brakes were meswsed with, something hasn't been connected or re-set, or as likely the abs sensor ring is covered in old iron filings and brake dust from the old brakes and not giving a good signal.

Go back to who-ever did the brakes...... and if it was you, go back and check what you done, and try cleaning everything round where you worked.

stick a chainsaw through the dash and burn it would be suggested by some

That particular suggestion conjoured up an image of a free-lander owner attempting to follow the suggestion, and then putting up a post, "Cant get chain-saw through dash!" to which you'd reply........ "Have you tried starting the chain-saw"....... You know, like the joke about the Irish Lumberjack!

You look like Bob Mortimer.

Oh, Vic Reeves side-kick...... not up much on TV....... when you said 'shooting stars' though he must be a contestant on the latest (lack-of) talent show.....
