HI ALL
My son in law has got a disco 300tdi he pulled up to a junction yesterday and the engine cut out.
It started right away but when he tryed to rev the engine it just went flat and chucked out white ish blue smoke.
I put it on the garden and we set to work.
( things we have done)
Changed fuel filter, drained tank, put fresh derv in, emptied sedimenter,
drained fuel line up to pump.
My local landy garage told me to check water lvl, all ok not lost any water or oil.
It starts first time with no smoke and ticks over ok. But when i try to rev it go's up a little but then struggles and starts to smoke more white than blue.
Had service a couple of months ago.
BTW i used the lift pump to bleed system so presuming pump ok.
please guys any help here would be very much appreciated tnks....
