help please - urgent

hi guys, I have just bought a freelander 1 soft top but I do not have any instructions on how to fit it, I have tried looking through previous posts on here but the only link I could find doesn't seem to work, can someone please help. desperately wanna get it fitted today.

Full instructions on how to fit a soft-top are on page 129 of the owners handbook.

If you haven't got a handbook, you can register for free on TOPIx with your VIN number and get an on-line version in the owners section.

There are instructions for all LandRover options and accessories there - for every LandRover ever made they say.

all I am finding on page 129 is stuff about off road driving? what year handbook is it, I have downloaded rave now but still cant find it quickly anywhere.

tried youtube and couldn't find it, I have now found instructions on folding and unfolding it whilst on the car but not actually fitting it to the car.#

go to

select 'model / year' from the pull down menu
clik on the 'find' button

go to ( select ) the 'owners' tab .. top right ..

left hand menu .. select the 'accessory fitting intructions'
select from same menu .. 'roof options'

select no. 2 .. 'soft top'

~~~~~~

probably best to use your computer mouse buttons
to 'open pdf in new window'..
e.g. with a Mac .. it's 'cntrl' key .. whilst cliking on the pdf document itself
( as here .. the .pdf document within the TOPIx window .. has been rotated )
