As the title says its just a front wheel bearing but I'm struggling a bit lol if any body knows or is one I would be greatful thanks

I've managed to grind the nut off but the race has welded itself to the stub axle stopping me from taking the hub off I think it may require some heat so I could get the race off or is there another way of doing this. Help please

Same happened to me, you need a puller, and will need to renew the stub axel after, 52mm box spanner is defiantly worth getting too instead of grinding or (what I had to do at first) chiseling he hint off.

Could a mod please move this thread to the defender section too? Don't want any panicking somebody's in need of rescue :p

It was welded solid but moved it enough to unbolt the whole stub axle so now shopping for new front hub and stub axle for range rover classic.

Put it in 'ere cause tis common enough on Series, Discos and Rangies

I've cut them before, with a 1mm disc you can cut about 90% at an angle to the stub, then a mixture of file and chisel to split it. Need to be very careful though.

Heats the better option to try first though

If changing the hub completely then you will probably think "the brake disc is welded on!" That's the only problem with changing the hub, you end up changing the brake discs (both sides) too it can be hard to get the original ones off alive!
