Due 2 knowing the owner of Gaz shocks very well i am having a custom set ov ajustable shockers and spring made for mu 90, but dont know how much higher i should lift it.

I can have any hight upto 12 inches but i understand that is rediculas and i would imagin the ride would be well..... **** lol, so could anybody give me any advice.

Also will i need correction arms, rear trailing arms and dislocation cones

Advice will be much appriciated thanks, Matt!:)

2" mate. keeps it nice and sweet. dont need to change any arms or nothing. propshafts will be ok at 2" height under barriers and such at 2" is ok cos your the same height as most small vans.

road handling isnt much diff. it will "wollow" a bit on corners and roundabouts, but that it.

pushing 4" can spring all kinds of problems. double cardon props, new arms all around, steering will need to be adj. road handling will be pretty bad over long distances.

i dont think you can go wrong with 2" as it still looks good and gives you good articulation. might want to put dislo cones on if your bothered, but unless your going mad off road i wouldnt bother. landy's are more than capable as standard... and thats what most folk seem to forget ;)

I will be doing the suspension on my 90 this summer, so asked a mate who regularly trails/offroads/greenlanes/winch challeges etc his disco, how much to lift it and how to lift it i.e. bigger springs or spacers. He said not to bother at all 'cos there more than capable anyhow, and do you know I'm rather inclined to agree with him.

after fitting lift spacers a few months after owning mine. i would now agree with you grunter. ive been out with a few standard 90's even on road bias tires, and in the dry summer over rocks they perform outstandingly.

lifted "trucks" do look better though ;)
