I,m a new-by to this forum.
Have a disco 2 up here on isle of skye with a alarm problem, The alarm was trigged in the night with a Gail, the next morning it was unlocked by the key fob ( 2 button ) as normally, started then driven 15mls and parked and locked with the button on the fob. On returning to it to unlock it with key fob it would not open the central locking. The key was then used to enter the EKA code, at the end of the key sequence a double beep was heard indicating the correct code was entered unfortunately i forgot not to enter till 5 minutes had expired. The alarm was trigged when i opened the door I then closed the door and tried to lock it with the button on the key fob but did not work so used key to lock. The central locking worked and the alarm horn stopped but since then the EKA when entered gives only one beep when held for 5 seconds in the unlock position at the end of the sequence otherwise no beep.
I have followed the instructions to the letter from the owners book and the workshop manual and tried the spare key and new batteries in the key fobs to no avail. Does any one no how to reset the alarm / mobilizer please as the nearest Landy dealer with a TestBook is a 3 hour drive if i could get it mobilized and running.
Please if any one can help i would be eternally gratefull.
