Hi all I have a discovery 2 and the rear drop link has just snapped now banging like mad it’s also fitted with ace and it happened today of all days a Sunday when nowhere is open to get one what can I do to keep driving it as need to drive to work untill I can replace it many thanks in advance

Which bit of the dropper?

Bar snapped or bar snapped off the ball cup?

It’s snapped off the ball cup completely

Remove both ends and set on your bench, preheat welder and fire some snot at it with a couple of tacks and cool before repeating a few more times until a solid full weld has been achieved.

Only option given circumstances.
