Yeah that helped

Well, we can give you some serious advice, but you may not like it.

As I said, I don't know TDci or any late models. But as the two vehicles are a long way apart in time and spec, I should think there are a lot of detail differences in what is fitted where inside and out of the bulkhead. Maybe more major differences as well.

So the first thing I would do is study the setup on a standard 1989 Ninety, and the setup on a Tdci, see what mods and alterations you will need to make.

Also, before even starting the job, I would give very careful consideration to the chassis you are going to mount it on, does it justify the trouble?

And, could the present bulkhead be repaired and galved, or get another from aftermarket supplier. It might be much easier, and keep a much more original vehicle.

I have been told so far that the heater box hole is larger on the 90 to the tdci and the tunnel of the later bulkhead has to be shortened to take r380 tunnel apart from that its pretty much the same

Heater is completely different, as are many of the other fittings and fixings, Not impossible but not as straight forward as you seem to think. A prime example of changes over the years are the new doors on a TDCI ! look similar to an older model door until you start buying bits :- TDI exterior door handle £5 TDCI version £40

Are the transmission tunnels not a different profile. So, you need to re-engineer the bulkhead or seat box and use a tunnel that fits the profile you've chosen. Also, I think the type of gearbox affects the shape of tunnel you can use. Not done this, just going off things I've read from the posts of others. This may not be accurate, but still something I would suggest you investigate. Hopefully, someone will add more accurate info to this. Good luck. Are you getting it galvanised before you fit it?

The bulkhead i have is off a broken landy so already painted so i am just going to rust treat it not that its rusty its really mint genuine part the gearbox tunnel has to be used from my landy i am aware i have to cut back fixed tunnel on tdci bulkhead and use the tunnel flange from my 90 and mount that on tdci bulkhead so i can use my r380 tunnel i was told this by the guy i sourced the tdci bulhead from he breaks landys and as done one conversion and the guys at arkonik said the same they put the later tdci bulkhead in to there resto 90s thanks for input AI203
