hey there had a similar problem when i got my h reg 90 back a year or so ago. bought if from a neighbour who had lost the paper work.

eventually found out that ringing the dvla in swansea is the quickest and easiest way out. (google them)

give them as much info as possible i.e. reg, chassis no, colour, body type etc..

cant remember what form exactly you need but just explain the situation and that the V5 was lost

they will then send you a replacement form which will allow you to bring it to your local VRT office and register it as an irish vehicle (in exchange for your right arm) d robbin fookers!!

but have to say DVLA are very helpful and there was no charge when i did it!
took about 2-3 weeks for them to send it out

yeah i know i had to deal with them and empty my pockets in jan when i got VRT done on my P38! dealt with the DVLA and they sent me the permenant export document,

someone told me they reckon a 200tdi/300tdi should plug straight in. any thoughts on that?

someone was me. theres a thread on here of how to do it just search summat like 200tdi upgrade but that assuming it hasnt already been horrendously modded to fit the current lump in

cool i will have a look at that now, would i need a new gear box and running gear if i decide to go with a 200tdi/300tdi? and also what are those engines like off road?
