Ok iv just fitted a new 1.8 k series engine to my freelander but can not work out were three-way breather pipe goes any help would be greatly appreciated thanks john

Please post a picture, to help us direct you in the correct direction
The lower point of the pipe (inlet to the pipe) goes from a rubber tube in front of the battery and the outlet on the pipe goes on to the middle of the air cleaner. You can see (part of) the pipe below on the picture to the left - just in front of the battery tray.
