hi all, right here goes my attempt at explainig this!

hi have purchaced a 300tdi defender 90, the vehicle is in good raff all round and drives mint too.
now i also own a 300tdi discovery which is in offroad spec and and i have not had the psoblem on that.

so here goes-
i have lifted the 90 by 2" with a procomp kit with some standard length suspension turrets and dislocation cones from paddocks, i have also put QT 3 degree radius arms on and an adjustable panhard rod.
my problem is when i put the vehicle on the ground the front shocks are in an awfull angle and are fouling the suspension turretts where the bolts onto the chassis towards the front of vehicle, also the dislocation cones are hitting the springs towards the rear of the vehicle.i thought the whole idea of the qt radius arms were to solve this problem!

now i have not drove the 90 yet as there are other parts not yet fitted, but if i did i would do some damage to the shocks no doubt.

but i would like to sort this issue out if any of you know how to help it will be grately appreciated.

also i have tried to search but not come up with any answers helpfull

Have you tightened the arms up properly?? Try taking the QT arms off and refit the std ones, see what that does.

the 90 was lifted 2"inch for a week or as i was waiting for the QT arms to turn up, and it was very similar to it is now, maybe a little better now but not much.
arms are tight.

yellow

does this make a difference?
i had the exact same problem on a previous landy with the yellow britpart springs and pro comp shocks,i was told the yellow springs only give you about 1 1/2" lift and the qt arms are to correct a 2-3" lift, after a very short time the bottom pin of the front shocks had bent,i now use the blue bearmach springs and terrafirma shocks and havent had this problem since

have you fitted the turrets the correct way round as they are angled more 1 way than the other, cant remember off hand which way though
