help needed asap please p38

hi all mentioned earlier in the week i had brought a new p38 4.6 but the heaters were not getting as hot as they should but the car was running at normal temp etc etc any way i went out this morning and there was the sound of water gurgling in passenger side and there is water dripping down i have took the glove box out and removed the front of what looks like a fan and its soaked and when i put the blower on drips faster does anyone know the what the prob is may it be the heater matrix

Open the bonnet and just below the windscreen at drivers and passenger sides you will see two oblong plastic covers about 8" long X 1 1/2" high with a self tapping screw at each end..undo the screws, remove the covers and pull out the filters that are inside. Have a look to see if the cavity is clear and not full of leaves etc.
Could also be that the filters have been left out.

have done this and there were some leaves in there and abit of gunk but not loads could this have been the problem then maybe also have not lost any coolant ?

cleaned both sides out but cant see how water can get in there really do i have to remove the whole front grill or not just want to do it properly so doesnt happen again hopefully

If your not losing coolant, then it must be rainwater ingress and the favourit place for that especially if the heater blower(s) are throwing it around is the pollen filter chambers.

so just to confirm i removed the 2 filters and cleaned them up is this all i have to do are there no other drains that may be blocked/need cleaning if so where and how pls

There are two drains from the evaporator which run either side of the centre console and out through the floorpan. Details are here Range Rovers
