As some of you may know I have another post,
(my first land rover, series 3, 88")
I bought a loom brand new from autosparks, spent most of the day trying to fit it.
There are wires I cant ID.
Instead of a bunch of green and white wires with spade connectors for the fuse box, they have cut them short, about 2" long coming out of the side of the loom, then bound the tight, guessing they are all conected some how.
Im left with some smaller diameter green wires, and white wires that I am guessing that go to the fuse box, but there are 3 the same diamter, and 1 thicker, so as they are all the same colour etc, i cant determine to which fuse number they are meant to go.
Also, i need help ID'ing the cable positions from the horn/indicator switch to ignition/fuse box.
I have two light green wires that seem to be linked, about 3 inches apart, with spade conectors, behind clocks, cant id them either.
other wires left over too..
tried the wiring diagram, no help.
Any one got decent photos of wiring behind clocks, ignition and fuse box?
any help much appreciated..

The light green wires should go from the voltage regulator to the fuel and temp gauges. The white wires should be unfused switched live, from ignition switch to fuse 3 & 4 plus some other switched feeds. Unswitched live goes to fuse 1, thick brown wire, fuse 2 is a spare. The wiring diagram is fairly clear and there's a good diagram of the back of the clocks in the manual.
