Help ive bought a freelander

Hi guys.
Ive bought a freelander 1 02 reg
1.8 petrol.
In very good shape but currently needs mot so got it cheaply.
Known issues are handbrake light can come on whilst driving yet handbrake fully off.
Also yep u guessed it ive got the 3 amigos.
Could anyone advise me on a process to sort these things.
