I figured out I have a leaking part below the intercooler pipe on top of the engine.
( sorry forgot to make picture)
It's going in the plastic pipe and engine on the side.
And is like no seal between which makes the oil leak on both ends.
Not much, but annoying over time.
It looks like a diagram or something inside.

I cant find it in any part catalog, so anyone has any idea what it's called or where to get it?
Or may even if it can be bypassed

and what's the result f that?
Thanks

Do you mean the plastic breather valve that comes out of side of rocker cover and into air intake body. Mines a sod for not staying put so just clean it up and apply some sealant to hold it in place

Yes thats the one.
Tried sealant, works for a day makes a mess still dosnt seal.lol.

Tried cableties to hold it in place proper, still leaking.

Thought may get a new one but not sure what its called or how much.
I seen somewhere a picture someone replaced it with a normal pipe.

But I have no idea what it dos or what it is there for and what it would cause by replacing with a normal pipe. Lol

It's just a filter to clean the recirculated oil vapers into turbo. Just found old wammers post part number STC2806

Tried that but the tape was effected by the oil. Island 4x4 list the part but it's price on application:eek::eek: Heard from Mike so good news John, had my telephone appointment this morning and was asked to go to the surgery at 1130. Couldn't find anything new so we're both happy bunnies
Sure are Alan. At least now the mortality factor has gone down hell of a lot:):) Like I told Mike if you own and drive Land Rovers you've got to expect your body to behave the same:D:D

It’s a little oiltrap/valve. There should be slight negative pressure in the cam cover so as air is drawn from the air filter it draws a little through this trap to create it in there.

If you replace with a pipe it will push smog through like an EGR. Take it off and swill it with petrol you will see how much gunk is in there. Tick the engine over with it off you will see puffs of smoke
The awkward bit is reassembling without breaking the new seals. You need a good rtv. There’s 2 pipes on the trap with jubilee clips. One connects to a grommet on the intercooler feed, the other on a plastic 90 (be careful not to snap) going into the cam cover.

(Ignore strip down you only need take covers off)
Both these joins need sealing up while clipping everything back on without disturbing it.
Worst part is thoroughly cleaning all the old oil to get a good seal. Dirty horrible job

New unit is silly money. And will still need sealing up same as your one

Well. Need to see what I can use to deal this thing up
not paying near 200 quit for a peace of plastic. Lol.
May just use oil resistant silicon.

Don't forget to replace the o ring I was lucky my mate got a big set of them, from Aldi I think, and one of them was the right inside diameter and the wall thickness was slightly larger so it was a tight fit.
