Hi , I removed the top and front part of my 1995 300tdi dash panel to replace the wiper wheel boxes . I was reluctant to remove the vented part of the dash but it was impossible to access the air duct screws without doing so . Can someone please tell me how to replace it ? Thanks ..

Pictures will help ....
So you removed the plastic vents and ashtray and removed off the top panel
Then you took off the passenger grab handlle, wiper motor cover and the the plastic top.
Then you undid all the screws holding the plastic vented panel and the air flap knobs and the lower plennum/dash and loosened the binnacle (after removing the instruments) so that it moved down and away by an inch or two .... ?
Then what ?

Okay, just think through the re-assembly process with logical thought. Did you not take photos of the disassembly using your mobile phone? If not, remember to use this trick next time.
Re' assembly, install the last component you removed, then the next, followed by the next and...finally the last. It's all ever so easy.
I haven't removed the flap control screws or anything under the dash tray . To remove the dash tray to get at the lower dash bolts I would have to remove the demister tubes , if I then managed to get the vented panel back in I would have no access to replace the tubes . If I'm seeing it right .
The procedure didn't seem complicated enough to take photographs . The last thing I removed was the vent panel , but I got that out in the absence of the demister tube and with a horrid amount of bending and twisting . ( The panel , not me ) .

No. All Tdi dashes are a doddle to remove and re-install. Do you have a Haynes manual as this clearly lists the de-install process, then install is the reverse. If not, go YouTube as there are 100's of super helpful Land Rover "how to..." videos.
I've gone to YouTube but haven't found one that shows how to make the panel go back in .

Oh no. more finger slippage Doggy dog dog ?
Something like that ! Anyway , I figured it out . The panel is way more flexible than I realised , so after I slipped it over the flap controls I stretched , twisted , forced it over the edge and into place . Brute force tempered with caution , basically .
