Hi all
seeing if someone can help I have a 2005 1.8 petrol freelander the battery went flat so I jump started it not realising I had done the most stupidest thing ever and crossed the battery + and - I have a new battery and it won’t start it just clicks and the temperature gauge goes straight to hot even though the car hasn’t been started and there is no central locking heater fan and also no ignition key warning when I leave the key in the ignition I have checked every fuse and there all fine is there any relays that could of blown

Any help would be really appreciated

Many thanks

Thanks for your help and info
Sorry mate, couldn't help myself.
Its one of those really basic mistakes they warn you about in BIG BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS, so hearing that you done goofed is a surprise.
I sincerely hope you are that lucky and only your mega-fuse has popped. We good now?
