I am trying to workout where to mount a 4 point harness, for the middle seat of my TD5 90 hardtop. The harness is an ExmoorTrim one, that I purchased from Brookwells, which actually turns out to be manufactured by Securon. On the ExmoorTrim site it does state that the harness is suitable for fitting to all Defender front seats.
Now there some very generic instruction on how to fit the harness, but nothing on how to fit it to a Landy. I think that I can secure the lap part of it to the existing belt mounts on the seat box, but its the shoulder straps that I cannot figure out.
My best guess would be to secure the shoulder straps to the rear of the bulk head, by drilling some holes and putting the plates and nuts on the other side (the seat side of the bulk head).
I have attached 2 pictures; the Securon image of where to mount the harness, and one showing where I believe the shoulder straps could be mounted.
