help !! , bobtail.... or bobtail pickup

hi there i have had mt g reg range orver now for a year or so now and i want a project to do so i was thinking about bobtail it and pick up it ,,,, but i was also justthinking about bobtailing it but i really dont no wat to do ,, so has any one ever done one before ever bob and pick uped or justed bob please help ,, and if u have any pics or ur project would be muchly appreciated
any advised would be used to the most .. thanks

A simple bobtail is easier on a 4-dr than a pickup bobtail. Personally I think the 'hey day' of these has past; the best option being a 2-dr RR in bobtail pickup format.

BTW, you will need an SVA once you have shortened the chassis as this is considered a major modification.

but i not shorting the wheel base just cuttint about 1 foot of the over hang would i still need that as i no some one who done the same on a discovery and vosa said he didnt need that done as the have not shortened the wheel base ,, but thanks .. i would do a 2 door but i aint got one and i love my 4 do only gt 50.000 on the clock a v8 so i def doing this one .. i gt a few plans , just wanting some more ideas or pics manyy thanks

technically if you alter the chassis it needs an SVA But at only £50approx it's hardly a bank buster.
