Help bloody buzzer!!

I have a problem with my rear door saying it is open but its not ! Anyway to cut along story short with the current weather I am using the car everyday and haven't time to trace/fix the issue.

As a short term fix and for my sanity at least can you disable the buzzer warning ? Until I get round to fixing it As it bleep every 2 mins whilst driving !!!!

I put a switch in the in one of the wires that goes to the speaker so if i am having a off day i can turn the annoying beeb beeb off, you can access the wire by removing part of the dash that containe the dials and warning lights.
