HELP!!!! 300tdi front end noise!!!

So, my 300tdi is noisy as hell in the cab with a drone or hum from the front end. Only after 25-30mph does this noise appear! Also it is only when I am giving it throttle, when i slack off slightly or i am going downhill with no throttle the noise dissapears. Took a video today but the camera doesnt really pick it up that well! Could it be the front diff? at first i thought the gearbox may be low of oil, so i checked it & the front diff & both have sufficent oil levels. HELP!!!! the noise is really a pain in the :mooning:

before condemning anything make sure the fixing points for your air filter have not failed it can sound like the engines shagged

Mine are and mine does, but it isn't or at least I think its not
