Help 3.5 EFI wont start

Right I fitted the air flow meter and no difference. There is a perfect vacuum and everything.

I think the problem lies with the LPG system. I have traced all the wiring and from the coil there is a box that adjusts the timing. Also the injectors are ran through the emulators (part of the LPG) So I don't thing the ecu is firing the injectors because the lpg system isn't working.

Now I bypassed the system to the lpg solenoids and it runs on the gas great so it's down to the LPG I think.

If anyone has any information for a iwema system it'll much appreciated.

Found the problem!

It was the injectors, most of them are stuck open flooding the engine immediately. I've tried cleaning them to no avail, but I have a spare inlet manifold with carbs so I'll put that on instead till I get the new engine. Unless anyone has any spare injectors lying around?

Thanks for your help

Dave

you'll have to change the fuel pump to run carbs, far too much pressure with the efi fuel pump

there is a black and white cable that runs to ya ECU check this as this is the signal cable if there is a brake in the cable it wont start also on the wire there might be a small resestor take it off and try. Also the over run relay check that its working. some people cut it out as there a pain in the tits. That Black and wite cable is a show stopper!

If the plugs are very wet the 9th injector on the plenum chamber might be dripping as there ****. take of the fuel pipe to the 9th injector and block it off the (th injector only works when its somthing like -19

Yea I've got a spare fuel pump from a 2.25 I used to have so that should be fine and serviced the carbs. Just waiting to hear if the injectors can be fixed. I hope so.

All the wiring is fine for the ecu. And I've re-wired all the injectors as well.
I've just got to work out how the pipes go for the carbs then I can go get my 3.9 :).

Blocked the fuel for the 9th injector ages ago. What I can gather is that the rubbers on the injectors are so perished that when I had it running little bits of rubber came off and went into them.
