I wish i cud afford to take my Landy:mad:

I reckon it 'd be cheaper to buy one over there :D

Had a go in a Hummer on an orft road course at vegas. It wasn't any where near as good a Landy. An it were a very tame course anorl.

we are planing to leave the uk next summer with a 4months trip through canada and the states. lany's taken us all around europe and iceland. we dont have the heart to sell her, so.... have another 9 months to think about it.

obviously a humer doesn't have the personality of a landy but it must perform well of road? look's like it should anyway.

Yep they've got personality for sure and they look like they should be good off road but they're pants.

The bloke who was with me nearly sh** himself when we were about to go down a little slope. Cos I sed "Low range keep yer feet orf the brake.... Right?"

an they're cr*p at axle twisters anorl.

welcome to the site jody my auntie shipped here jag to the states last year when see emegrated and it cost here just over 5 grand given the price o fuel etc yer would be better of buying one there

I thought you could ship a container fer about three grand:confused:

I might just ave considered that  but 5 ffs...

coarse you could drive through Russia but on some floats and drive across the bearing strait. Thats been done recently. :D :D

Spect that'll cost more than three grand in doosel tho

a decent 2nd hand landy will cost between $10,000 to $80,000 that;s approx £5k to £40k shipping a landy as long as you collect from a east coast port will cost about a £1k.

i bow to pikeys research on the subject
i suppose shipping an old 110 aint as dear as shipping a 50k supercharged sports car
but 1000 seems awful cheap
jodys not far of wi 3000 fer a container but ive seen contents of some containers when the arrive from the states:eek: might spend a grand on foam tae protect it:D
5000 me aunt paid was fer hold cargo whatever that is picked up at door in birmingham n delivred in arizona so port tae port might cost bit less

here red i put yer down as me referal fer mud club maybe theyll be nicer tae ye noo

lany's back home in oz are worth a packet. was looking at buying 2004 ute. had a quick quote around 3 grand but that took care of tax's and rego. only catch is you have to own it 4 a year. you can fill the car to the roof with gear which help offset some of the price
