I live in Santarem. It's a city that stops in time... hehe!

But I live for 28 year in Albufeira... great city!

My parents live near Moncarapacho.....

My mther was from moncarapacho, an my father from monchique... meet in Lagos married and go to Albufeira...

Moncarapacho has changed a bit since then I bet......I remeber when it was a quiet little town.....but its getting bigger everyday.....Albefuira is a concrete jungle now. not many green lanes . hehehee

The Moncarapacho I don't go there for 8 or 9 years, but has always been more calm then albufeira.

I don't live in Albufeira since 2004, but go there several times a year, after all I have there my parents and it's only 300 km. About 15 to 12 years ago was still a city where meet many familiar faces ... But since then has had a growth crazy, and .... DAAHHHHH! To much tourism, many Brazilian immigrants and from ucrania ...

But I miss that wonderful blue sea ... And tourists who fill the streets, mostly of English which I think should be the most friendly.

yes, i noticed this year especially the number of brazilians that were everywhere and also how much things had gone up in price.....we were looking at visiting more in the north this year but never had time to get around to it....maybe next year

Costa Vicentina (algarve) it's a good choice... The water it's a little cold, beautifful collors and nature, less people, more good prices and in some beach people can be naked.. hehe

Many... many... years ago... portuguese girld were hard to get... hehe!

Now their are easier, but harder to find because the brasilian girls are TO MUCH.... hehehe
