Masochist is one word for it.......we have others as fellow LR D2 owners. Just in case a few words of advice.
Find a friend with a nanocom or similar.
Make sure the key works in the drivers door lock.
Find and check the EKA code works.

I too had the same issue. Brought a D2, then sold it and missed it. Thankfully I now have another one causing me many many issues, but I wouldn’t have it any other way
