Welcome, I have a 97 disco too. There is plenty of info on here on what to look for and how to deal with it!

I have repaired a few bits on mine, so if I can help I will.

P.s. how is the floor in the boot?

Hi. Floor in the boot and sills replaced and repaired by previous owner😀

Bonnet looks rough I think the paint is delaminating, I am looking at getting it re sprayed.

Coolio, mine has just failed Mot on sills (amongst other things)

Probably cheaper to buy a 2nd hand one in better condition. What colour is it I have a black one spare?

Okay, that's a good point, thanks. My discovery is navy / dark blue (not sure what the official colour is!)

Ahh ok no worries, find the paint code and search Google and I'm sure you'll find the correct colour.
