Hi I am new to forums so excuse me if I do anything wrong !!
Hello to everyone
I have a 1998 disco td5 and have just been converting it for off roading
On my first outing I had a great time but managed to catc my exhaust and it snapped off just past the mid silencer
I have replaced the mid section with a straigh through pipe
When I took the old silencer section off it had just e usual black sooty residue I but mow I have fitted the straight pipe I have noticed a small drop of oil coming out the joint bbetween the mid pipe and rear silencer pipe I have not driven more than 5 miles since changing the pipe
Have looked again at old silencer and it's just the black soot so looks like this is the first oil but where will it be coming frm and what suddenly start jus with a silencer removal ?
