hello everyone??!!
i have recently acquired myself a 95' disco. being a mechanic (lexus) i had a good look over it, replaced steering box and bits and bobs. i am looking to off road it and was wondering if anyone had/ get hold of a snorkel kit for the 300tdi that doesnt cost the earth.
also i was wondering what the setup is for the diff locks and high - low ranges. i know how they work but 1. havent tried h-l or diff lock and 2. not really sure on when to use them bar in snow.

Hi and welcome to the loony zone. High is for normal road use. Low is for offroad or where a very low speed with lots of torque is required.
Difflock locks both propshafts so that they spin at same speed and is only used where ya likely to lose traction IE in mud, on wet grass or in snow/icy conditions.
