Hi all, picked up my first Land Rover yesterday, took me four years since i decided I wanted one to make the jump. I have Red 1995 Discovery Es auto v8.
Few problems to sort out, bit of the good old rust, but not actually that bad in the rust department. Needs a new inner wing right hand side, a one new rear body mount, other than that the boot is pretty much solid and what i can see of the rear member and sills is also good. Rust on the rear door shuts, but it seems solid no holes and the screw doesn't go through. Other than that she is brilliant, starting a complete service today going to go over it all, clean up the bay and overhaul the brakes. Should keep me happy for a while, am always happy when I have my hammer in hand and covered in oil.

Welcome, oh fellow rust bucket owner!
There are many wise and sage like beings here and you'll need a good sense of humour and thick skin.
But this site and moreover it's members are an absolute mine of information have proved very helpful!
