Hi, i own a 96 disco tdi. love the car but getting increasingly frustrated by the constant problems. Hopefully i'll be able to get some good advice on here.

:welcome2:

Don't look at them as "constant problems" more like "lessons in patience" and after a few years of landy ownership you'll be incredibly patient and pretty knowledgeable on the workings of your motor.

Or you'll get sick of it, buy a slitty and hate every minute of driving it :D

Lessons in patience is a good way of putting it.

Borrowed a friends car the last time it went wrong, a micra. i was grateful for the transport but couldn't wait to get the Disco back.

Have a look through Busters photo guides of repairs, they are excellent and have saved me more than a few quid.:D
