Hi there, have been looking at this brilliant site for several months now and have used lots of the advice here, so thank you everybody for all your help - great site! Need some help with our P38 and the dreaded EAS - have followed lots of the suggestions and think we are getting somewhere with it, but have some specific questions. I think I need to go to the RR P38 threads, but just wanted to introduce myself 'officially' !

:welcome2:Bonjour Monsieur Francais ;)

Bonjour - but it's Madame Francais (not really, just another one suckered into the thought of a better life across the channel!!!) Hubby is the technical one who I give the instructions to, I'm just a better typist! Have a problem with the wonderful EAS on the RR - 4.6 vogue! Have changed the two rear air springs as thought these might be US - they didn't look good when we removed them. EAS keeps going into high/wading mode - light blinks, sometimes goes back to normal or m/way cruising, but then it fights again, blinks continuously between high/normal and then goes into fault mode. Two messages ago it said Exhaust Valve closed, so have cleaned out the silencer, last one was front left valve closed - cleared them again, comes back up very quickly once faults cleared, and it will move up and down properly when it's not 'wading', so don't think the compressor is a problem (yet!). Have just done 20 km and it's faulted again - worked fine for 15km in normal mode (tried to sucker it into thinking it was 'locked' by pressing the override). Seems to go into high when it's been parked. Coming back home it did the usual blinking in high, trying to come back to normal, continuously for about 5km and then went into fault - seems the back's come down and front stayed up. Think the back is just about on bumper shocks by time got home (another 8 km), and the front will have lowered later on I expect by the time I go to the car park! Any thoughts you may have would be REALLY gratefully received. Have had some advice from another member that it might be the valve block and he suggested giving this an overhaul, cleaning the connections etc.......Hubby will run the software later and see what fault message we get this time - all good fun!!!!!!

Ok, what you need to do is copy and paste this into the RR forum section ... you won't get many replies leaving it here ... hope you get sorted ;)
