Hi all,

New to this forum, but have owned my V reg TD5 90 for about two years now. I'm 22 years old and full time student, but work at every opportunity part time for extra landy funds.

Very standard when I got hold of it, and very tidy.

Since then it has got stuck allot (my fault, not the truck :p) in the dark while out shooting, as well as moving me in and out of university, taking my girlfriend shopping :-S, greenlaning, dragging logs/tree management round my granddads property, mini van taxi to and from nightclubs all over Berks/Surrey. Sometimes its filthy, sometimes it has to be spotless. It really does everything I ask of it :)

Spec currently: BFG Mud Terrain KM2, Tubular winch bumper w. Superwinch + Marlow line, Southdown steering guard, Southdown front axel guard, QT rear diff guard, rock sliders w. tubular tree bars, Safari snorkel + breather kit, HiLift Extreme jack, 4x 55watt roof lights, Pioneer drivers, alpine head unit, two seats removed from the back. Air con, ABS+TC, leaky sunroof...

EGR bypass bits in the garage, straight through exhaust pipe in the post.

When I can afford to have it out of action for a while, I intend on doing a real preventative overhaul of the rear chassis 1/4.

Iv'e fitted 98% of the above myself, however do use a local garage for safety related stuff and some servicing tasks.

While I'm still a newbie when it comes down to things, and here to learn from people who know whats what, I do my research, and have been successful in most of my 4x4 endeavours, so I hope to give something back too.

Ask me about air rifles/shotguns/rifles and shooting/field sports in general, as allot of landy people seem to be this way inclined! I have been a full time and now part time fire arms dealer over the last few years, so id like to think I know a bit about that lot :p

Anyway, look forward to meeting and chatting to you all,

Cheers,

Rob
