Hello world, new irrational defender.

Good morning, hello all.

I've just bought a 2011 2.4 TDCi Defender County Station Wagon with 23,000 miles on it, for no sensible reason whatsoever. We live in London and spend weekends on the North Norfolk coast. I'm looking forwards to learning all about car maintenance, and I have a feeling thats going to come in quite handy. Why I wanted a landrover I don't really know yet, maybe it would take years of therapy to find that out, money which could better be spent on repairs. The drive is now 4-5 hours (at 65) instead of 3 (at 85), but its a lifestyle change which might be interesting.

Anyway, looking forwards to getting to know you all.

Love the North Norfolk coast, wild and windy and wide open beaches ..

On your way, either way, look out for 'Peddars Way', some nice easy, extremely picturesque Green lanes to bimble along ..
