Hello to everyone on LANDYZONE!!!

Hi everybody signed up as I have just become the proud owner of my first Land rover Discovery, I purchased a Discovery 300 tdi and absolutely love it. I needed a vehicle for towing & looked at many different manufacturers & models but soon realised that I was always drawn back to the Land rover marque as these are the real thing & all others just try to follow. Then it became apparent that my budget was only allowing me to look at trucks in a poor state of repair that always needed loads of welding no matter how good they looked above the sill line, always looking at rotten chassis, wheel arches then of course the sun roofs that didn't work due to the silicone repair jobs & those that had not been smothered in silicone had the hanging head lining & were leaking water, I didn't want a mobile fish tank. Then I sat down last Sunday afternoon in front of the lap top for my usual trawl over the internet not thinking it would bare any fruit & then, there it was just 3 miles from my home a discovery 1 300 tdi in burgandy P reg with no sun roof, is this the one. Well I was straight on the phone arranged to see it & less than an hour later had paid a deposit on a Landy with a rust free chassis an abundance of service history less than 116,000 miles & just within my budget. Okay its getting old but so am I so we can get old together LOVE IT !!!!! so here my discovery adventure begins. Hope I don't bore you with loads of questions but this is all new to me the Disco & the Forum.
