Well, the time has finally arrived...
I've been dreaming of owning a 'fender for quite a few years. However, the (now ex) girlfriend would never let me have one, or five. Sound familiar? But, after recently becoming a free man again, I've taken the plunge!
I joined the forum a while ago to start soaking up some knowledge of what I was getting myself into and to get some ideas. The plan is to do a bit of a camper type effort in the back of a 110, comprising bed, water tank, sink, storage, TV and MAYBE a PS3 if the funds will allow. We'll see. I'll be starting a thread on the conversion in a few weeks (someone can kindly tell me the best section to start it in, this is the fist forum I've ever posted on).
So, on Saturday 1st, I bought her off Ebay unseen, and I pick her up and i'll be driving 260 miles to pick her up this saturday from Chichester and hopefully driving 260 miles back to Bolton. (AKA Baptism by fire).

Don't know if i did that right, hopefully it'll work.
Feel free to let me know if I've been an idiot and bought a lemon, I can't help it, I knew i wanted her as soon as i laid eyes on her.
Also planning on sticking a 200tdi in her a few months down the line, if I'm brave enough. I've barely held a spanner in my life, but i'll give out a go.
So, there it is... The plan.
