Hi guys well the rangy did break down, and it was only runing on 6 cils and a knock came to light.
But a mec friend got a part ex for me, a 94 disco 2.5 tdi .
This disco has a 12 mths mot and runs great, but without the rangy i would not have had the disco lollllll.
We have done over 2000 miles in the disco, and got between 32 and 38 mpg ont of it.
So well pleased, as for the veg oil, Red what ration should I use ?.
And will it knacker the engine ??.
I ran 1 camper on central heating oil, with no probs.

50/50 in the winter and 70:30 vegoil:diesel in the summer your engine will be fine just run it on it for 1000miles then change the fuel filter and clean the sedimentor out.
