Hello, New Member Needs Help.

Hi all,

Been looking on loads of forums for months now to try and understand the dreaded LEZ.
I've been worried about it as I live and work in the zone and use my landy as my van. (Builder by the way)

I've seen some posts saying that if your v5 says 'ESTATE' then your exempt mine does

Can anyone clear this up for me or point me in the direction to get it confirmed, I've checked the LEZ site and it says that I'm exempt when I put my reg in but there's small print that says the database may not be up to date and as my landys a 1985 I'm thinking it's to old to have it on their list.

hello mate, i live in guildford and have a ranger aswell as a landrover. i got a letter from transport for london saying that the ranger does not meet the required euro 3 standard so i will have to pay to go in which is not a problem as i wont take it in (up yours boris) so you should either receive or not receive a snotty letter. good luck

Thanks gundogspaul I guess I'll just ave to wait for a crapy letter. I can only hope for now, I haven't got the time to stick a V8 in her and I dont wanna spend £2000 on a ****y back box fillter thing.
