Hi all, I am considering buying a 2015 Defender 110 when the lockdown finishes and am after a bit of advice please. There is a factory fitted gun drawer in the load area which I would need to remove as I have 2 big dogs to fit in there. Can anyone tell me how difficult it would be to take it out please. Thanks very much. Lauren

This is Landyzone, the best community for Land Rover owners on the web.
As a community, we have the Introduce Yourself section, so that new members, like yourself, can post a little about themselves and their vehicle, if they have one . Thus building on the community spirit of the site. After which they can wander off , and post in their relevant section.
Which is nice. Rather than a smash and grab approach, wanting help on a first post.

P.s try the Defender section for the advice you're after.

Sorry. Didn’t mean to rush in asking for advice. Wasn’t sure how it all works. Regards.

No worries :)
Like I said Defender section can suggest re removal. Depending on cost of removal, and size of dogs, why not work with it? Gun drawer usually means dogs too. Gun drawer could be great storage space for all those things you 'should' carry, hi-viz, warning triangle, warm kit, water , food for dogs, and a myriad of other things. Could be on a winner keeping it.

I will have to sort out getting a ramp to get my old Lab in the back. Just got to wait for the lockdown to end so I can go and see it. Bit frustrating!
I have a wooden bi-fold for the Range Rover, as it's higher than the Disco. Before that I had a plastic bi-fold with the blue grip material, for the Disco. I think Defender is lower again, not sure. I'll have a look later, see if I can find makes
