Hello, been browsing this forum for a few weeks, and have just bought a Discovery 300 tdi, R reg, in red. Really pleased with it so far, bought it quite cheap, £1600, full service at main dealer till 8000 miles ago. really solid underneath, just a small rot patch on the offside rear arch (when you open the door).

It came with a few small oil leaks, the breather/rocker cover which I have cured, think I may have a small weep on the sump gasket.

Really suprised at how cheap the parts are for these are!

Done about a 1000 miles in it now, and really love it! How have I lasted all these years without one! lol!

It has a mint grey interior, 128k, dog guard and cd player, full mats, all the books and tools, I genuinely couldnt believe it when I saw it, after looking at some really hard worked vehicles recently.

Have some side steps here to go on it and some front mud flaps.

Looks really nice and a bargain at £1600.....Get some good vinyl shine for your plastics and it will look the mutts nuts.

The wheel are genuine landrover....They are called XS Deep Dish Alloys.

To finish the look off you need a chrome sparewheel cover and colourcode the centre to the same as your car or get a LANDYZONE sticker for the centre

Handles and brace should be in a long vinyl bag. This is stored under the rear seat bases. If you lift the rear seats you will be able to see 2 velco straps that hold the bag in place.

If you start a new thread asking if anyone has a spare bag, i'm more than sure that 1 of the lads will be able to help you out.
